Accelerating Open Source AI on AWS
Today, we’re excited to share a major milestone in our work to help every company own their AI: Fireworks has signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS, to advance joint go-to-market efforts, bringing highly performant, scalable open source AI solutions to customers. We have also achieved the AWS Generative AI Competency Partner status, a recognition of our expertise helping customers train, fine-tune, and deploy GenAI workloads on AWS.
Builders on AWS have used Fireworks to bring custom models into production with higher performance and lower costs. Earlier this year, we launched native integrations for Amazon SageMaker AI and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, allowing developers to train, fine-tune, and deploy their models inside the AWS workflows they already trust. This new collaboration builds upon that foundation, expanding it into a comprehensive set of resources to support our joint customers at scale. Leveraging AWS’s reliable, next-gen infrastructure, Fireworks enables businesses to deploy and scale their AI models with confidence, meeting growing demand without compromising performance.
Speed, Flexibility, Scale
Fireworks and the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center Startup Team are launching a startup acceleration program to attract and support AI-native startups in their journey from rapid experimentation to production-scale deployment. The collaboration combines the Innovation Center’s deep technical advisory and implementation expertise with Fireworks’ developer-focused, open-source generative AI stack to reduce time-to-market for startups.
Through funded proof-of-concepts (POCs) and hands-on model customization and deployment support, the program addresses traditional friction points for founders that need the flexibility of open models, the performance of Fireworks’ inference platform, and the scale of AWS services. The program targets onboarding qualified startups starting early 2026, and includes co-event initiatives targeting startups from top accelerators, top-tier VC portfolios, and curated founder communities. To get nominated, founders are encouraged to contact their Fireworks or AWS account team for more information.
“We believe the future of enterprise AI depends on being open, customizable, and production-ready,” said Lin Qiao, Fireworks co-founder and CEO. “Working closely with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center strengthens our shared mission to help customers innovate rapidly with open, customizable AI.” “Collaborating with AWS gives builders the confidence and infrastructure they need to move faster.”
“The AWS GenAI Innovation Center is excited to partner with Fireworks. By combining the Innovation Center’s proven expertise in helping customers architect, implement and scale generative AI solutions with Fireworks’ high-performance inference platform, we’re uniquely positioned to accelerate the journeys of startup customers from concept to scale. This collaboration enables startups to move from experimentation to production faster, with the confidence that comes from deep technical expertise and proven technology working in concert.” - Taimur Rashid, Managing Director, AWS Generative AI Innovation Center
Fireworks and AWS
Our inference platform runs across multiple AWS regions and underpins production AI systems for thousands of customers. Over the past year, we have deepened this relationship with a series of technical integrations that give builders a more seamless path from prototype to production on AWS.
Helping teams own their AI
This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting developers, startups, and enterprises across the GenAI ecosystem. Teams can now combine the global scale of AWS with Fireworks’ high-performance training and inference environment to build models that fit their domain, their data, and their workflows.
Whether you are experimenting with new architectures, fine-tuning frontier models, or scaling production workloads, we’re excited to help you move faster with AWS.
